Filipino Martial Arts instruction emphasizing armed and unarmed combat. We utilize edged, impact and flexible weapons, as well as empty hand striking, kicking and body manipulation. Greetings! I am a lover of FMA, and wanted to create a group for those in the DMV area to meet up to learn and to cross train in the various FMA arts. Any practitioners of Kali, Arnis, Escrima, or any other Filipino Arts are encouraged to join. All skill levels are encouraged, from beginners to Guros. We are a group of (mostly) Filipino's from Fil-Am Community Church that meets in Springfield VA and plays Sports and group games every Sunday after church from 2:00 - 4:30 at Lee High Park in Springfield. We organize sports for kids and adults. Some of our favorite are volleyball, mushball (over sized softball), kickball, ultimate Frisbee, badminton and a dozen more. For the kids we play dodge ball, jump rope, four square, hula hoop and a bunch more. Come out and join the fun.
